What an exciting time for Ferrari and for Le Mans. We invite you to take a deep dive into the photoshoot of our first two completed 1:8 scale models of the #51 and #50 Ferrari 499P that raced at the 2023 Le Mans Centenary. These really extraordinary models perfectly replicate the Hypercars that claimed victory and Hyperpole at the Circuit de la Sarthe in the hands of Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi, and Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen.

Demand has been huge from our commercial and private customers alike, with a third of the models in the edition already pre-ordered. Consequently, we are now accepting deposits on further batches of these Limited Edition models with a view to dispatching them to customers in Q3 of this year. In the hands of Antonio Fuoco, the #50 broke the Hypercar class record with a lap of 3:22.982. Pier Guidi qualified the #51 in second. It was Ferrari’s first Le Mans pole since 1973, and the 1-2 put them in prime position for the race. The first twelve hours saw the lead change hands numerous times as the Ferraris battled the season dominating Toyotas. The #50 car required six laps in the pits overnight, effectively ending its challenge for the race win.

By morning, the race had turned into a tense duel between the #51 Ferrari and the #8 Toyota. The rivals traded lap times before the decisive moment: Ryo Hirakawa locked the rears and his Toyota hit the barrier at Arnage, creating crucial breathing room for the #51 which required another system restart just twenty minutes from the end of the race. Despite the scare, Pier Guidi guided the Hypercar across the finish line, ultimately one minute and 21 seconds ahead of the Toyota.
