Offering unadulterated Formula One technology for the road, the Mercedes-AMG ONE lays a claim to being the most brutally performance oriented two-seater ever to hit the streets. The world’s first commercially available vehicle with both an F1 hybrid powertrain and road-legal approval, the ONE is a true performance hybrid that marks the pinnacle of what is currently technologically feasible. It is a celebration of unprecedented success in motorsport’s top category, and the half-centenary of AMG, but is also a compelling insight into the future of the automobile at Mercedes-AMG.
The components of the highly efficient and high-performance 1,000hp plug-in hybrid drive system, named EQ Power+, in the Mercedes-AMG ONE are based directly on Formula 1 and were realised in close collaboration with the motorsports experts at Mercedes-AMG High Performance Powertrains in Brixworth. Involving a highly integrated and intelligently networked unit from the 1.6-liter V6 hybrid petrol engine with a total of four electric motors, the ONE can reach maximum speeds of over 218mph (352km/h).
Developed using original CAD designs, paint codes and material specifications provided by Mercedes-AMG, each model in the limited edition contains 1192 handcrafted parts within the 58 centimetres (23 inches) long body. The Mercedes-AMG ONE is the first modern Mercedes GT road car we have built at 1:8 scale, and represents a step change in the depth of the relationship we have with Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG. In development
In addition to the fantastic 1:8 scale model above, development of the 1:18 scale model is also underway. Completion of the first batches is projected for Q3 2023, so please register your interest with our sales team to be the first to learn when these models become available.
