Models in build at 1:5 scale
We can now reveal that we have been developing a huge and very beautiful 1:5 scale edition of the Ferrari 499P, replicating the #51 Hypercar as raced to victory by Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi in the 24 Hours of Le Mans on the 10th and 11th of June 2023. Models of this already legendary car at 1:5 scale will be Race Weathered, with the intricate weathering details being precisely applied by our artisans in the Bristol workshop using archival imagery from 2023.
The edition is limited to just 51 pieces, of which only 26 remain following the sale of 25 models to one of our most important customers. The remaining models will be weathered to order, and are now available to purchase on our website or through our sales team.
Please note that this is a 'Kerbside' model and does not feature any moving parts.
Built on an all-new carbon-fibre monocoque chassis, the 499P features solutions that represent the cutting edge of motor sport technology and demonstrates Ferrari’s full commitment to endurance racing. The performance of the car’s technical and aerodynamic features enhanced by means of simple, sinuous shapes: - an explicit expression of Ferrari’s DNA. Ferrari's victory in 2023 marked a return to the elite class of WEC after 50 years and coincided with the Centenary edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, commemorating 100 years since the inaugural race in 1923.
