Engine and Gearbox Replicas

Engine and Gearbox Replicas

A series of incredibly exciting projects for 2025 will be the advancement of our Engine and Gearbox Replica Collection at 1:4 scale. We are delighted to reveal that we will be modelling the marvellous F140HD from the new Ferrari 12Cilindri, the legendary Tipo 168 Comp V12 Colombo from the Ferrari 250 GTO and the iconic V12 Merlin engine that played a pivotal role in the United Kingdom’s aerial prowess during World War II. Further discussions are taking place with other manufacturers, and we hope to have even more to reveal to you at the start of next year.

Ferrari 12Cilindri Engine and Gearbox

The F140HD engine and accompanying eight-speed DCT gearbox from the 12Cilindri will show every detail of the incomparable 830-cv V12 power unit at 1:4 scale. Once again collaborating with the talented design and engineering teams at Ferrari, we anticipate the initial prototype to be completed in early 2025, with the first batches of production models to follow in the subsequent months. We encourage customers to register their interest with our sales team for this limited edition of just 199 models.

Ferrari 250 GTO Engine and Gearbox

Ferrari 250 GTO Engine and Gearbox

Our meticulously crafted 1:4 scale replica of the Ferrari Tipo 168 Comp V12 Colombo Engine and Gearbox will be designed to showcase every intricate detail of the legendary power unit that powered the iconic 250 GTO. This 2,953cc engine, paired with its five-speed gearbox, is truly a cornerstone of Ferrari’s illustrious history. Not only was this the original engine for Ferrari’s road cars, but it proceeded to power classic icons such as the 250 Testa Rossa, 250 GTO and Daytona. We are delighted to be working alongside the historians at Ferrari Classiche to precisely capture this iconic mechanical marvel at scale. The prototype is expected to be finished in late Q1, with the first customer models slated for delivery shortly after. We encourage customers to register their interest with our sales team for what we are sure will be a model high in demand.

Rolls-Royce Merlin Engine and Gearbox

Rolls-Royce Merlin Engine and Gearbox

The British-designed liquid-cooled V-12 piston aero Merlin engine achieved mythical status during the Second World War, powering many of the most iconic Allied aircraft, including the Spitfire, the Hurricane, the Mosquito, the Mustang and the Lancaster. Despite being named after the United Kingdom’s smallest bird of prey, the Merlin would belie its smaller capacity, and moniker, and play a crucial role in the Royal Air Force’s victory in the Battle of Britain and the liberation of Europe. We are very excited to be developing our own version of this iconic engine at 1:4 scale, though, with over fifty variants of the Merlin engine constructed during its lifetime, the exact variant we will be replicating is still under review. Our current expectations are that customers will be receiving their models in Q3. We encourage customers to register their interest with our sales team, as we anticipate high demand for this exceptional model.

Classics

We can reveal the development of a new classic edition at 1:8 scale: the infamous “Little Bastard” of James Dean will be the subject of a special “Man and Machine” figure and model edition. This will be the third such edition, as progress continues on the Tazio Nuvolari edition with the Bugatti Type 59. At 1:18 scale, we are anticipating the first Ferrari F1-89 models to be completed in time for the holidays, whilst the race weathered Porsche 911 RSR, Maserati 250F and Bentley Blower prototypes are all expected to be completed in 2025. Read more details on our website.

Porsche 550RS Spyder - James Dean Figure Edition

Porsche 550 RS Spyder - James Dean Figure Edition

A new project for us at 1:8 scale is the replication of Porsche 550 Spyder chassis 550-0055, more famously known as Hollywood superstar James Dean’s “Little Bastard”. This special ‘Man and Machine’ edition will be limited to just 30 models, capturing the car in its unique state after Dean had taken it to sign writer Dean Jeffries, shortly before his fateful journey to Salinas. We will once again be working alongside our partner studio, a talented team of artists in Venice, to craft the most precise figure of Dean, which will be digitally sculpted and 3D printed before being exquisitely hand-painted. The prototype model of the “Little Bastard” will be finished before the years’ end, whilst we currently anticipate the initial figures to be completed early next year. We are accepting orders now.
