The first model in our edition of B-17F Flying Fortress has been delivered, and we look forward to sharing the first images of this edition early in the year. Development continues on our Merlin engine recreation at 1:4 scale, as we continue to investigate our options for which specification engine we will replicate. An exciting new project we can introduce will be the P-51 Mustang, at 1:16 scale much like our acclaimed bare-metal Spitfire. We are in the very early stages of research and development for this edition and do not expect the first completed model until 2026.

Merlin engine
At 1:4 scale
We are still in the early stages of development for our 1:4 scale replica of the liquid-cooled V-12 piston aero Merlin engine and are yet to define the exact variant we will be modelling. We expect to have direction on this project early in the year and maintain our plans to have the first models dispatched in Q3. We encourage customers to register their interest with our sales team, as we anticipate high demand for this exceptional model.

P-51 Mustang
At 1:16 scale
We can now unveil our newest addition to our growing collection of Aircraft Replicas: the P-51 Mustang. The iconic American long-range, single-seat fighter and fighter-bomber will be modelled at the same 1:16 scale as our widely acclaimed bare-metal Spitfire. The long-range P-51 Mustang fighter was invaluable to the Allied victory, enabling resumption of strategic bombing after heavy losses suffered by unescorted bombers in 1943. Developed for export to Britain, models modified by the British to use Rolls-Royce Merlin engines became America’s most capable wartime fighters. We are in the very early stages of research and development for this edition and, as such, are still defining the exact specification. We do not expect the first completed prototype until 2026.
