Amalgam Model the Prize for McLaren Japan Track Event
Amalgam's official agent for Japan, Kiyotaka Tamamushi-san, was our representative at McLaren Japan's track event at the Fuji International Speedway. Bruno Senna presented the victor with an Amalgam model of Ayrton Senna's McLaren MP4/4, as raced to victory at the 1988 Japanese Grand Prix Senna, claiming the first of Senna's his three world titles. Other Amalgam models of McLaren cars, such as the Vision GT concept and the Senna, were prominently displayed around the venue.
Amalgam meet with friends at Ferrari's Finali Mondiali at Mugello
Amalgam’s founder Sandy Copeman European agent Jason Franz spent an exciting weekend at Ferrari’s Finali Mondiali meeting with friends across the Ferrari family. Following the announcement of tailor-made Amalgam 1:8 models of all the current GT3 and Challenge cars, it was the perfect opportunity to meet with owners, drivers, sponsors and dealerships to discuss requirements and capture the details of the cars trackside. Models were exhibited in the VIC hospitality and the Ferrari Store in the Paddock, with much attention and respect being paid to the 1:8 models of the Monza SP1 and SP2, and the SF90 F1 car.
Nigel Mansell's Ferrari F1-89 with just three signed prints
Please note that the prints have now sold out.
We now have available just three large format photographic prints signed by Nigel Mansell to accompany the next three orders we receive for the Limited Edition Ferrari F1-89. The rare and signed fine art quality print features the F1-89 driven by Mansell at Monte Carlo. Our 1:8 scale model of Ferrari F1-89 (640) is as raced by Mansell at the 1989 British Grand Prix. It has been handcrafted and finished in our workshops with the co-operation and assistance of Ferrari regarding original finishes, materials, archive imagery and drawings.
